At School camp we went white water rafting.
We were bumping down the rapids and then we were in the taniwha pool and there was a huge rock that was as high as the sky. The instructor said that we had to jump off that huge rock into the freezing cold water. I thought was he was kidding but he was actually serious, but when I got to the top of the rock I startd freaking out because it was sooo high ad there was a huge rock a few feet under the water and I was afraid that I would hit it. I closed my eyes, held my nose and took a big breath and then I jumped. I jumped as far as I could so that I wouldn't hit the huge rock, and then I was in the freezing water. I started swiming as hard as I could for the river bank so I could get out of the water and dry off. The instructor was yelling at us to hurry up because time is money!
Next we were bumping down the worst rapids and the instructor had us headed for a low ledge protruding from the cliff face just above the water, then we smashed into the ledge and we were screaming and laughing as we held on for our lives. But then there ws a scream and a splash from right behind me, so I turned around and saw tht our teacher had fallen out so I started laughing. The insructor told me that I was supposed to fall out not our teacher. So then I staarted laughing so hard I almost did fall out!
